"Hammer4" is HammerLane Trucking Software's solution for every truck owner/operator. Through one easy-to-use interface, operators can manage their trips from beginning to end, entering information as they go related to location, route, stops, payment methods and rates.

HammerLane takes all that information and makes calculations for you that are necessary to turn your rig into a profitable living. Hammer4 can calculate actual and virtual cost per mile, create invoices, remind you of important maintenance tasks, track state miles and fuel purchase amounts and locations, and even provide bookkeeping information! Hammer4 is simply jam packed with many features that are hard to find in any single trucking package - but Hammer4 has them all!

The Current Trip Screen - Start Here!

Once you have set up your driver and truck information, the screen you deal with most often is the "Current Trip" screen, which gives all of the basic information you need right away. There are no hidden menus required to find the different entry screens and calculators - everything is laid out in a consistent and straightfoward way. This makes Hammer4 easy to learn!

It's as easy as Point & Click!

Color coding allows drivers to interpret information easily:

• Anything Green is a button.
• Anything Gray is a field where you can enter information (active fields turn white when you are entering info, so you can't get lost on the screen if you have to look away.)
• Red buttons are important buttons that carry special warning that prevent you from making mistakes - they often make changes that can't be easily undone (like closing a trip).
• Dark blue fields provide information that Hammer4 has calculated for you.

The "Single-Entry" System

The Single-Entry System allows your information to get Hammer4's engine running. By entering information about your trip in a simple location, that same information gets applied to many different calculations that also need to use it.

For example: Say you enter a fuel purchase once using the Fuel entry screen... Hammer4 takes this single entry and automatically updates the trip report, the state/fuel milage report and the expense report! No more reinventing the wheel - once information is entered, it goes right where it should!

Getting lost? Or maybe you are entering some figures you don't enter too often? Hammer4 knows that everyone forgets sometimes, so it has helpful information on every screen that tells you where to begin filling out information. It also lets you know if there are some numbers or information that Hammer4 can't do without! And once you get the hang of it, you can turn these helpers off.
