Hi Mr. Fred

Thanks for the user friendly program and delaying your anniversary dinner to help me with my laptop problem. It was very easy to setup and I was up and running in less then 10 minutes. I didn't have to attend my local college for a accounting 1 A class to interrupt accounting reports. Profit and loss report is very helpful when being paid tariff miles, at a quick glance you can see the shrinkage from truck miles to paid miles. With the flexibility to change expense names I was able to keep my accountant happy. The carrier that I'm leased to requires monthly maintenance reports, having maintenance records at the click of a button makes filling out the form much quicker than digging in the old shoebox. Prophesy mileage database provides accurate routing and state miles. The program pays for it's self by not over paying state fuel taxes, No more odometer reading written on little pieces of paper floating around. Keep up the good work.

I'AM an over the road truck driver that knows the importance of not alone getting the best paying loads,but also the importance of controling cost! the only way you are going to do do this acurately is by computer! But the best damn computer in the world isn't a hill of beans without a good program! I have tried several But they all lacked some essential part that made their effectiveness limited. That is until Hammerlane! This has everything and I mean everything that is needed to make your trucking business Profitable! Brother that is the name of the Game!! And guess what? You also Get Fred! Dear Fred:

As an early customer of yours I have had quite a bit of time to work with your program. As an owner operator, I can say that nothing else I have used has been anywhere as easy or trucker friendly as Hammerlane Software. This program has a variety of modules for individual customization. Of course I have made great use of the trip reports and data storage on a per trip basis. But a very helpful part of your program has been the mileage tracking and fuel tracking for my IFTA reports and other quarterly reports. Using the Prophesy software I have never been questioned on mileage reports for any of the jurisdictions in which I have operated. (By the way that is probably about 37). All in all I would recommend your program to each and every one of my fellow owner operators. First of all it works, and secondly the program was written by a fellow trucker to be used by truckers. The programmer is not writing your kids next video game, he is still involved with the program. Also as we are all small business people, we should continue to support other small businesses. I wish the folks at Hammerlane Software continued success and hope they are around for years to come.

Thanks Fred, I appreciate it. I just used my state mileage records to correct the company I'm leased to. Seems I was the first one to pick up their mistakes in the March report. The girl that runs their program was surprised when I had the right figures and theirs were so wrong. The program has been so helpful in planning my routes and saving miles and time. Also has been a tremendous help at tax time. Just print it out and go to the accountant. Worth all that I paid for it.

Fred I have been going to write you a note for along time and haven't done it yet. Finally today I am. I wanted to tell you thanks for all the help and support with questions and problems that I have had. Your ability to see the little mistakes I have made and correct them has been a Godsend on more than one occasion. Also the assistance from you with Prophesy enabled me to update the Prophesy to run with Windows ME, and at reasonable price.

I would also like to give you a testimonial for Hammerlane O/O software. I am leased to a large Van line company hauling autos for them. Daily I fill out miles and fuel by state with my logs and have always assumed that this is what the Van lines were charging me back monthly for fuel tax and weight and distance tax. Well to my amazement what I sent the Van lines does not even come close to what they have been charging me back, even if you include 10% for mileage discrepancies.

When I started using Hammerlane I had Prophesy mile maker with it. Then I upgraded my laptop and the new laptop had Windows ME installed on it. The old Prophesy was not compatible with ME so for a month or so I hand entered my mileage. Until now I have upgraded Prophesy.

Now back to my point.. I have used Hammerlane both with and without a mile maker. But since I started using Hammerlane software I have been able to audit my statements and have saved more than the cost of Hammerlane and the Prophesy software in catching overcharges by the Vanlines on fuel tax alone.

This software is fantastic!!!! I would, and do when I can, recommend it to any O/O that wants to save money. Also it is great for tracking expenses and keeping them with the right trip. So I know where I make the most money. Thanks Again Fred.....and sorry for being so long winded.. Just like a truck driver eh???

Thanks Fred for a great product, easy to reload when my computer crashes and a great tool to let me know where I stand financially quarter by quarter. I tied to download the new version of Microsoft Explorer 6 and it destructed itself causing me to wipe my hard drive and start over again. With my backup disk and hammerlane cd we were up and running in minuites.

I just wanted to let you know how useful HammerLane has been for me. When I first read about your software package I was skeptical due to the fact that it seemed expensive and that no large software corporation had created it. However, I no longer have any reservations. HammerLane has greatly simplified my books and financial record keeping. I used to simply throw all my receipts into an envelope, mail them to my accountant and let him charge me $50 and hour to sort through them. With HammerLane, my accountant declares that it will pay itself back in the first year for his charges alone!

That is great savings but the greater benefit is that I can easily track all my expenses and instantly have a history of the prior trip, month, quarter, or year. This has allowed me to better manage my expenses and I truly believe I will save hundreds more dollars each fiscal quarter by better financial management.

The Prophesy practical routing is also a great assistant, allowing me to compare what route I would normally take to what the computer recommends. I have learned a few shortcuts and I find it easier to plan my fuel purchases using the Prophesy program.

All in all I have found HammerLane to be a very wise investment and in the few months I have used it, I have already seen savings in time and money.

I've looked at the simple, cheap software packages that are hawked at some truckstops but none come close to being as well developed or useful as HammerLane. It is a complete planning package that is well worth the investment. Additionally, unlike some software programs that require a degree in accounting and computer engineering to understand, I was able to become comfortable with HammerLane after entering just a couple trips. With your easy-to-reach toll-free support, every question has been answered and the transition from paper to hard drive has been very smooth.

Hi Fred and crew!

We have really enjoyed our HammerLane Software. It does a really great job. It tracks all our expenses and gives us a print out of them. The program answers all our questions, when we need them answered. We can always know what our trip is going to pay before we run the trip. The mileage data base is real helpful in determining the route we want to run. The program makes doing paperwork and Income Tax a breeze. It has cut down the time it takes to determine profit and loss and in the trucking industry the name of the game is less time and making a profit. I purchased hammerlane about a year and half ago,and I noticed a few changes out on the road, sutch as speed limits raised(in some states) and other states changed the truck routes (making them off limits to trucks) IE:NJ. does hammerlane offer updates to the exsisting program I purchased? If so how much is it? By the way, hammerlane is the best investment Ive ever made in trucking!!! Its helped me A LOT. hope to hear from you soon.
